The Advanced Vitamin Skin Therapy or AVST™ Range from Environ® Skin Care evolved for use in skin at any age, or in any condition in contemporary environments. Beauty therapy is no longer a field of feel-good applications as its primary aim, but aims to protect, restore and assist the skin to mobilise its innate ability to repair and maintain itself. Environ® AVST is the leader in this new exciting skin care philosophy.
The Environ® AVST™ range adopts a sound scientific approach which recognises the normal physiology of skin as the gateway for encouraging normal skin cell behaviour. The combination of Vitamin A, powerful antioxidants and flavonoids may help to restore skin cells which would result in a more youthful complexion with a smoother texture and a radiant, healthy glow.
The creams are produced in five varying strengths of vitamin A and C. All of the products contain antioxidants, flavonoids, penetrant enhancers and AVST™ 3, 4 & 5 contain peptides to promote collagen and elastin formation. For the best, long-term benefits follow the sequence of these strengths. This will enable your skin to become accustomed to the progressive strengths of the active ingredients in the formulae while gaining maximum long-term benefits and avoiding potential retinoid reactions.
No fragrance or sunscreen is included in this range.
No preservatives are added during manufacture of the AVST™ range. Those preservatives represented in the declaration of ingredients are contained in a few of the raw materials that are essential to get the full benefits of this special AVST™ range.
This scientifically proven formula contains:
- Powerful antioxidants from Rooibos and Honeybush Tea Extract as well as Beta Carotene.
- The Rosemary Oil Extract works as an antioxidant with added anti-bacterial and mild antiseptic properties.
- Green Tea Extract provides further antioxidant properties to assist in the reduction of sun damage and also acts as a mild antibacterial.
- Resveratol to help combat the visible signs of ageing.
- Matrixyl®, which enhances the production of collagen and elastin in the skin, is included in the formula of AVST™ 3, 4 and 5
- Vitamin A in the form of Retinyl Palmitate is included in AVST™ 1,2,3, while AVST 4 has Retinyl Acetate and AVST 5 contains both Retinyl Palmitate and Acetate.
- Vitamin C in the form of VCIP an oil soluble, stabilised form of the vitamin
The creams are formulated to assist in the reduction of fine lines, sun damage, uneven skin tone and dry facial skin.
For the most effective results the cream should be used during the day with a sunscreen, SPF15 or higher and should be applied twice a day (morning and evening) after cleansing and toning.
