areola re-pigmentation

Areola re-pigmentation is a specialty area of medical tattooing that requires advanced education, training and experience. Areola re-pigmentation techniques can “create” an areola after breast reconstruction, minimize the appearance of scars, or restore an areola to a more natural looking colour and shape. Areola re-pigmentation may also be called areola tattooing, areola micro-pigmentation, areola pigmentation, areola re-covering, areola restoration or areola simulation.

lash lift

Just one 20 minute professional treatment is all it takes to deliver a sumptuous lash lift that is retained, even after a shower or swimming…for up to 12 weeks.

micropigmentation eyebrows

Micropigmentation is permanent form of tattooing. This method is done with a digital machine. The colour is implanted deeper into the skin known as the dermal layer. It lasts longer than the Microblading method.

It is long-lasting but not permanent. With micro-pigmentation the pigments will fade over time depending on various factors, including the health of the skin, UV exposure, the skin’s ability to absorb the pigment, and the colour of the pigments used. The fading period may take anything from 1-5 years before a touch-up is required. For patients for whom micro-pigmentation is not an ideal solution, we can also provide Eyebrow Wigs.

micropigmentation eyeliner

Eyeliner can be applied in many styles and colours, from soft, natural looking lash enhancement to a defined line. The choice is yours! Some people feel both upper and lower eyeliner suits their needs best, while others feel only an upper or lower eyeliner is appropriate for them. Whatever you choose, you will wake up, shower, exercise, work, swim and go to bed always looking your best. No more tattle tale eyeliner smear or smudge during the day, no more concern when participating in sports activities and best, your appearance remains consistently fresh appearing throughout the day and night.

micropigmentation lips

Permanent makeup techniques aimed at enhancing and correcting the lips are amongst the most common procedures applied.

Permanent makeup defines the lips outline, enlarges or reduces them slightly, corrects asymmetry, creates an optical effect or more volume and, generally, makes them more attractive if the design and technique have been correctly applied.

micro needling

Mesotherapy is a non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatment aimed at diminishing problem area on the face and body. Mesotherapy treatment can be used for face, neck and under eye rejuvenation and also for common concerns such as hair thinning.

dermal needling

Dermal needling is an intensive skin rejuvenation treatment that induces the skin’s natural healing processes to help improve the texture, firmness and hydration of the skin.

Dermal needling is ideal for:

  • Softening fine lines and wrinkles
  • Reducing acne scarring
  • Reducing enlarged pores
  • Reducing stretch marks
  • Improving dull skin
  • Improving skin elasticity and strength
  • Improving skin texture
  • Reducing old scars
  • Sun damaged and ageing skins
  • Backs of hand

Dermal Needling can also assist in breaking down existing scar tissue including acne scarring, stretch marks and surgical scars. Dermal Needling is minimally-invasive, non-surgical and non-ablative.

How does it work
Ultrafine, medical grade needles are gently passed vertically across the skin at varying depths, creating a controlled skin injury. A channel or micro-wound is created which triggers a wound healing response whereby the body produces new collagen and elastin and new blood capillaries are formed. The micro-channels also allow for the enhanced delivery of active serums to the deeper levels of the skin.

skin peels

Skin peels, or chemical peels are generally classified as superficial, medium or deep. Moderate and deep chemical peels are performed by a Dermatologist or Plastic surgeon.
Our Appearance Medicine team performs superficial skin peels. These treatments work most effectively with a series of procedures after which significant improvement is usually evident.
Peels are designed to remove the outer layers of old and sun damaged skin cells reducing pigment and surface dryness, and they can also stimulate new collagen to be formed.
The potent ingredients act to refine, hydrate and plump your skin resulting in a fresher looking skin that has a more even texture and colour.
At Tristram Clinic we have peels for all skin types and concerns.

They are ideal for:

  • Improving texture and tone

  • Sun damaged and ageing skin

  • Dry and pigmented skin

  • Blemished and acne skin

  • Use on the neck and décolletage

  • End of season skin refreshment

microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is like a “spring-clean” for the face.
It is a non-surgical way to freshen and rejuvenate the skin on your face, neck and décolletage.

Microdermabrasion is ideal for improving:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Skin texture
  • Mild blemishes
  • Dry, flaky skin
  • Enlarged pores
  • Blackheads
  • Congested skin

How does it work?
At Tristram Appearance Medicine Centre we use a diamond-tip wand device that is gently moved across your skin to slough off (exfoliate) the top layer of your skin. An attached vacuum simultaneously suctions away dead or loosened skin cells leaving the skin’s surface smooth, refreshed and glowing. Removing the dry outer layer of the skin’s surface allows for enhanced absorption of active serums that may be then applied.
